  1. water it? sprinkle some water on it put dirt on it sprinkle pack it maybe water the dirt you dig if thats hard

  2. So do i live in arizona

    but i love the dirt

First u want to dig a hole off to the side of the jump just to get a pile started. once you have a pile started, dig a hole that is smooth in front of the jump to speed u up when you jump it. Then   get a hose and soak the dirt. use a shovel and make a starting curve.  The pound it. Then use your foot and slide it down the jump. once you have a perfect lip water it every day. Do whatever you want with the landing.

  3. keep watering

  4. If you're dealing with a lot of sand or decomposed granite, you'll have a hard time getting things to pack, even with lots of water.  You may need to import some decent soil or change locations to get your jumps built and have them stay together.  If you can pack them enough that they won't disintegrate or blow away, then cover the launch and landing surfaces with a cap of quikcrete...or at least some old carpet, conveyor belt rubber, fine wire mesh, etc.   I've heard of people having good results by layering in some chainlink fencing as they build the main pile, but I don't know exactly what kind of dirt they had to use.  Sometimes you really do need to just mix in some topsoil or fill dirt just to get it to stick.  If you end up buying dirt, look for a "compaction" grade....it's cheap and will pack the best.   Good luck!   :o)
