Problems with burning a dvd, please help?

Question

i got a blank disc and everything but when i try to add files to the blank disc, one of the files says is 25 hours although is only 40 minutes and that's why it won't let me burn... so what can be the problem here??

please help........

or is there a program where it will make my life easier to burn dvds?? i have the one that came with the computer windows dvd maker....
