Problems with dog and new kitten

Question

SO i got a new kitten

and i already had a westie dog

my problem is that every time we get the dog and kitten together, the dog chases her and she gets scared and runs

now when we put the dog and cat on the couch together they are fine

but then the kitten tries to move the dog starts to run and it becomes a disaster

the dog does not want to hurt her though

They'll get used to each other over time.  Just wait, when the kitten grows up she'll chase your Westie!!
