Problems with internet explorer?

Question

It keeps freezing, especially when trying to log into something or open a new window. Luckily, i have firefox as well which works fine. in addition, firefox runs much faster - is that normal?

I've run anti-virus etc to no avail.

correction spy sweeper is one of the best, anyways no it's not normal but it doesn't matter firefox is alot better, i think it has something to do with the registry.

if your internet explorer is of v6 or below its normal and also 7 also tends to freeze now and then.

I suggest you keep using Firefox and transfer data from the Internet Explorer to Firefox.

Its the best!

install "ccleaner"(yes cc) and run it .

ccleaner deletes cookies and temporary files left by web browsing ,this gives you back memory and helps browsing to run better.

Firefox doesn't process every file that goes through it, it just passes it so you get a much faster connection unlike internet explorer.

How to transfer favourites from internet explorer:

[1] Open Firefox

[2] Go to Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks

[3] Press Import and Backup

[4] Choose Import HTML then Microsoft Internet Explorer

If you have mcafee anti virus then ie7 doesnt work. no solution avaible

why are you complaing about IE7 if you have firefox. aviod Ie and use firefox. its much faster, and far more secure.

I agree - Firefox is much better than IE, but it shouldn't be freezing.

You should run anti-spyware also. SUPERAntiSpyware is one of the best.
