Question:

Problems with my HP DV6000?

i have had my HP DV6000 laptop for just over a year now so the warranty has just run out and it is experiencing some problems.

i turned my laptop on the other day and it booted up like normal but then i realised the wireless wasn't turned on, it was showing the red light, so obviously i couldn't connect to the internet wirelessly . since then i have installed some updates and then it worked but the next time i went on it i wouldn't work again. the computer is up to date so there's no problems there.

i was just wondering has anyone else had this problem with their laptop and how did they solve it. or does anyone just know how to fix it

any helps will be fantastic thanks.

  2. Your problems sound mostly software generated. This means that the warranty would not have helped you anyway. Usually Windows will start having performance issues once a while after it has been used for more than 1 year without regular maintenance. I recommend you perform a defragmentation of your hard drive and get a system utility software to delete your old registries once in a while.
