Problems with my audio system?

i just installed my 2 10" kicker comp vr's in a bandpass box and when i have the balance set to the middle where it belongs it sounds like c**p... but when i turn it to either the left or the right it sounds amazing. what is wrong with it?

yeah i'd say u got sum wires crossed on one of the subs

i have no idea man. maybe it's just you. mine sounds perfect in the middle

make sure your polaritys are not in the wrong spots. Also, if they are not bridged and this is happening then your probably not giving the subs the amps that (they) want.

When you direct all the power to one, then it sounds good, because the other one is not requesting any power. It definetly sounds like (togather) they are under powered.

No doubt you have the polarity of the speakers incorrect. Make sure you have positive to positive and negative to negative
