Our neighbour, Madame Berlingot, has a little girl who is very ill. Doctors say it's her nerves. Madame Berlingot said that her girl wanted a blue bird, and believed that if she got it, she will be healthy and strong again. So, she asked us to run that errand for her and bring her the blue bird. My brother and I agreed, and our pets went with us. I have a cat, Tylette, and my brother has a dog, Tylo. At home they got along all right, not as particular friends but not enemies either, and they were all right at the beginning of our trip. But at the end of it the dog started acting very hostile towards the cat: he attacked my Tylette, all of a sudden, and biting and pulling my cat's tail! Why did he do it? What could provoke that dog? Now we are back, and our place is not big, will he go on being hostile? If yes, how can I keep Tylette safe? What should I do?

  1. Let the blue bird sing for them too , so they get happy and love each other.

  2. Is this a story?  I don't understand what this has to do with Books & Authors.

If you put your question in the right category, you will get better answers.

  3. Keep your pets at home. They've marked out their territories at home, but away from home is a whole new situation for them.
