  1. Go to the dentist and they will refer you to a gum surgeon. They do a little procedure where they take some of the gums from the roof of your mouth and suture it where your gums have receded around your teeth. It takes about an hour and a half and you don't even need to be knocked out. Good luck and I hope you have insurance!

  2. You really need to go to a dentist and get that repaired, unless you like being in pain.

  3. Prevident toothpaste (by prescription) works really well. All of my roots were exposed due to gum shrinking.  It strenghtens the roots and they will not cause any pain.  I have been using it for about 2 weeks and it is great now. I could not eat, brush, or anything around the painful area.  Rub the toothpaste on with your finger if brushing is painful. It burns at first but after a few days it gets better

  4. go 2 the dentist duh! u might have a gum disease so go to the dentist!!!!
