Problems with my laptop, sims 2?? I HAVEN'T PLAYED THIS GAME IN CENTURIES BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM!!!!!?

So my sims 2 game is being annoying, I have all the expansion packs, all the stuff packs, and some custom content, and the freetime patch but it FREEZES!! UGH!! WHEN I TRY TO QUIT OUT IT SAYS PROGRAM NOT RESPONDING!!!!!!!!!!!! What can I do to solve this?? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You might not have enough RAM or your video card is not good enough. I would recommend not playing it with the expansion packs, just the original if you really want to play. Also, make sure you have nothing running in the background and that you don't have a lot of icons on your desktop. On a laptop, you can upgrade your RAM but unfortunately, the video card is soldered on to the computer and not really upgradable, in most cases (at least for a Dell, can't vouch for all kinds of laptops.)
