  1. you may not have enough memory, vista needs at least 1gb of memory to run right and so does most games,so i'd say try to get at least 2 gb of ram

  2. you sure dont give very much info hahaha its ok - well it maybe a video driver issue and im not sure who ace uses for there video chips so im just going to tell you to update your driver from the way it sounds im guessing intel grafx hahahaahah if not use a driver from http://www.omegadrivers.net/ great third party gaming drivers for nvidia and ati

Hi, my name’s Cody, and I’m working with the Windows Vista Outreach Team to try and help folks answer any questions or concerns they might have about Vista.  I noticed you are having some issues trying to get some older games working on your copy of Vista, and wanted to point you towards a resource that might be useful in getting your problems fixed.

Microsoft has set up a Vista Compatibility Center at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compati...  and this will let you perform a search to see if your hardware is Vista-compatible.   I’d recommend doing a search there for your particular games, and the site will tell you whether or not those games are compatible, and will often link you to whatever updates you might need to get the games working.  While you’re at it, you also might want to do a search on that site for your graphics card, just to make sure it’s up-to-date as well.

If for some reason you can’t find what you need at the compatibility center, I’d definitely recommend checking out the website of whatever company made the game you’re trying to play, just to see if they’ve recently released any updates.

Hopefully this gets you pointed in the right direction towards resolving your issues!  Good luck!

    Thanks,

    Cody
