Problems with neighbors trash?

Question

My neighbors keep their trash out by the curb at all times where as I put mine out on trash day. Their trash usually makes the way in to my yard and I know its not mine because they eat stuff we dont. Then we mow our grass and tidbits are blown everywhere and we get in trouble from city and the landlord for our yard being trashy.

Make sure you let the city and landlord know that it is your neighbors trash, and the next time that it happens you could contact the city about them littering. Because it is illegal and all and could get a ticket for it. Have you talked to your neighbors about the problem?

Politely ask your neighbors if they would please keep their trash in an enclosed place, like the garage until it gets closer to trash day. Let them know the problem. Nothing can be solved otherwise.

If they are rude about it or do not comply, notify the homeowners association or call the city and ask them what could be done.

If you are at a total loss, simply pick up the trash from your lawn that is blown over and place it on their lawn / front porch. Its only proper to return what belongs to them. :D
