Problems with quick time ,why can't I get it to work anymore?

I use to be able to use quicktime and now when I try I just get a big blue Q. Why can't I get it to work?

  1. I have received numerous plug-in error messages when trying to stream video in IE7 using QuickTime. It seems that anything newer than version 7.3.1 doesn't work properly - at least with Windows XP and IE7. If you have a newer version that 7.3.1 try uninstalling and go to http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ to download a previous version based on your OS.
