  1. Just as in selecting car shampoo and wax, no two car enthusiasts can agree on the ultimate glass cleaner. Some people like ammonia cleaners, others swear by TSP, while the purists will use nothing but clear water. Whatever you use, the principles are the same: clean, dry and polish.

Many professional detailers use plain water for wiping and cleaning the windows and dry the glass with newspaper. Unlike paper towels and most cotton towels, newspaper does not leave behind lint and the ink acts as a glass polish.

If after you are finished and this fog or haze comes back you might want to have your local auto repair shop check and make sure that your heater core is not leaking inside the vehicle.

    Good Luck

  2. No joke, use tooth paste to buff your whole windshield. Most people know you can clean jewelry with it,but it will also clean glass. The cheap stuff works best. It has more small grit. It won't scratch, it's not that kind of grit.

  3. Remove the window.

    Problem solved.
