Problems with synch-ing my wii fit?

Have just bought a wii fit and tried to synch it with the console as per the instructions but nothing seems to be happening and now my wii remote is playing up. I've changed the batteries in case that was the problem but nothing. Anyone any ideas???

click the sync button on ur wii and ur  wii mote and balance board

if you're thinking of buying a wii you should out this site first. they give you a nintendo wii for FREE! all you need to do is complete a few quick tasks for them.

I know this probably sounds silly but I had the same problem and I unplugged everything, turned it all back on with the remote (not on the console) and then pressed the on button on the wii fit when it asked me too and it's been fine since. Might be worth a go? I'm not very technical I'm afraid! kx
