Problems with the 99 things on pokemon red?

Question

I go to the guy in Viridian, then fly to Fuchsia, then go to Seafoam. But instead of Misimango i always get a level 132 Marrowak. No joke it kills all of my pokemon in one hit any move. I have no idea if its just an individual glitch on just me or any one else.
