  1. They tried this with me.  I ignored the letters and they just stopped sending them.  I guess they figure it would cost more to keep chasing me than they'd get back in payments.

  2. Simply reply with a standard format DWP response. Like this -

Dear Sir/Madam, i acknowledge your letter of ...... which is receiving attention. A detailed response will be issued in due course.

    Yours Faithfully, etc.

That way you've replied. The 'response' of course will be issued in around 15 or 20 years time.

Penguin - DWP stands for Department of Work & Pensions, and JSA stands for Jobseekers Allowance. If you didn't know why did you reply? Are you thick? By the way 'thick' means stupid, in the English sense. It's a northern term. Northern in the sense of Northern English dialect.

  3. I'd like to help you, but in case you forgot the YA community consists of folks from every state and province in North America and most countries in the world.  How are all these people to know what you mean by 'DWP' and 'JSA'?  Perhaps if you explained these terms in full someone might be able to give you the information you are looking for.  Thanks..

  4. No I haven't
