Problems with the bank?

I had moved 150 miles away from my bank. It has no affiliates where I moved and my account has been overdrawn and forcibly closed for about 2 months now. I've tried to contact the bank but haven't received any call backs for the past month. Today I had received one but the jerk on the other end told me he couldn't help me. I've been trying to resolve this issue for the past month and a half. My mail hadn't all been getting forwarded to me so I was unaware of the situation. I really need help in resolving this matter. I don't make enough money to pay it off in full and my job doesn't do direct deposit. What should I do?

  1. Keep calling the bank and ask for managers, not tellers. Don't leave messages. Insist on talking to someone in charge until you find someone who can settle this.
