Problems with the bolt on lambo doors on Mitsubishi Eclipse?

my bf installed these bolt on lambo doors on his Eclipse and they looked niCe! Installation was not that bad since he did them himself.The door was kind of heavy to open from inside (heavy for me at least) but still they were good for a couple weeks, then all of a sudden the driver side door didnt want to stay up it just drops. Its pissin' him off and he doesn't know why. The passenger side is ok but i think it's because he barely opens it (since i have my own car) does any1 know what he should do? where on the door can he can check? or what might have went wrong? any suggestions....thanx

There are plenty of cheap lambo door kits out there.  Sounds like your boyfriend was a victim of "pay less now, pay more later."  It should have come with some kind of dampener.  Make sure the dampener isn't shot.  Tell your boyfriend that this is what happens when you try to rice out a car with cheap parts.

the doors shouldn't be "heavy" Did he buy the actual vertical door KIT? if he did, call the manufacturer im sure they know exactly what is going on. If he just bought some 50 dollar "LAMBO DOOR KIT!!!!!!!!" on ebay, i'd say your boned.
