Problems with video playback--Video keeps...

Question

I have a Sony Vaio laptop and everytime I attempt to watch any kind of video or media on the internet, it skips really badly. I cannot even try to enjoy what I am watching. It was not doing this when I first got it, but I have not even had it a year yet. Please help.
