Process of medical abortion? Someone who has been through it...?

I was wondering what you experienced before, during, and after medical abortion (the RU486 pill)? Whats the process? Any long-term (a few weeks to months) complications/problems/feelings/etc?

How long should someone take off after the procedure? Any extra help would be appreciated.

My cousin recently found out she was pregnant (4 weeks). Please, no mean comments. Its really pointless. She needs comforting for this decision.

Id tell her to wait and have a surgical. i know it sounds mad but it doesnt hurt at al and you just have to go to sleep. medical abortions sound horrible and disturbing. trust me. i know it sounds mad.

My neice had the RU482 when she was 9 weeks pregnant and suffered no physical ill effects...her problem has been ongoing psychological trauma since she had the abortion, but it is something she has to learn to with.
