Almost a year after taking over as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013, with a 4-0 series whitewash, at the latter’s backyard.
"That plan is always on. Whatever format you play in the sport, you always want to be No 1. It's a slow constant process that we are subjected to," said Dhoni when asked about reclaiming the No. 1 spot. Pakistan’s ex Test skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 Cricket Board for not allowing him play in the country’s domestic first-class tournament, the President’s Trophy.
The 38-year-old veteran middle-order batsman, has not played international cricket since November 2010. National selectors have sidelined him for various reasons, form and fitness being at the top. In a bid to prove his form and fitness, the senior batsman wanted to play for the Port Qasim Authority team in the President’s Trophy, but the PCB is not clearing his name.
"I don't understand the attitude of the board. On one hand the selectors say I must play in domestic cricket to prove my form and fitness and on other hand the board is not giving me clearance to play in the tournament," said Yousuf. "I want to prove myself and my form to the selectors as I want to play again for Pakistan and end my career with a bang," added the middle-order batsman, who averages above 52 in 90 Tests he has played so far.
