Producing Products - Pop Drinks?

Question

If i wanted to make a soft drink company, how would I start?

Where would i go to produce the drink?

Where would i go to bottle the drink?

Do you have to be rich to start this kind of company?

And any information that you think would help.

you need to do a few things first -

assuming you have the recipe for a drink you want to market -

you need to get a patent on it -

once you've done that - since you have little money - you need to find some investors, but you cannot do this until you create a business plan

start by trying to find "independent" bottling companies - most of the soda bottlers are although privately held - captive to the major soda companies - so you need a small independent

speak with him about cost of manufacturing and bottling charges -

then go to some grocery chains and ask about how you get your product on the shelf

get all this information - get an accountant - and put together a business plan - you will then know how much cash you need to get going and your projected revenues etc.....

first you need the drink ready. If its good you try and take it to local pop sellers/bottlers and see if they like it enough to bottle it. You would need a lawyer.
