Product key and what the heck?

My laptop came with Microsoft windows to be installed.

I had to re-install it after i couldn't find my desktop icons and start toolbar.

So i did, and now i have to open microsoft office powerpoint, and this comes up:

MICROSOFT OFFICE 2003 SETUP

User information

USER NAME:

INITIALS:

ORGANIZATION:

IN THE BOXES BELOW, TYPE YOUR 25-CHARACTER PRODUCT KEY. YOU WILL FIND THIS NUMBER ON THE STICKER ON THE BACK OF THE CD CASE OR ON YOUR CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENCITY.

when i used microsoft word i used the product key on the back of my laptop that said:

WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION

product key: etc.. etc..

But when iuse that number for the powerpoint or any other microsoft office it doens't let me.

what do i do??

HELP PLEASE!! its urgent.

  1. you need to obtain a microsoft office product key (try a site like www.serialportal.com) . Or you could download a microsoft office torrent.


  2. You need to get a serial # for Microsoft Office.

    look around for the CD case or call the computer manufacrurer

  3. The XP sticker's 25 digit code is for installing Windows XP only, they wont work with Office, you will need the 25 digit code from the back of the Office CD case.
