Product key number id thing is being rejected...help please.?

i'm trying to restart my computer completley and i got to the point as in the photo

and it rejects my product key....i retyped it over 50 times and i typed everything in correctly how can i keep going. it doesnt let me do anything i cant even get to the home screen. everytime i unplug it it keeps going back to the same page. help me please. its a windows xp home edition disk that i have inside and my computer is a gateway computer with windows xp. thanks.

it has to be the wrong cd-key.. even if it was the right one and the license ran out, it'd get you past this screen but you wouldn't be able to activate online.

find the right 1 or bring the disk back and exchange it

You say it's XP Home edition disk but the product key is asking for the XP Pro product key.  Contact the company you got it from.
