Professional Footballers’ Association consult Carlos Tevez to try and resolve row with Manchester City
The Professional Footballers’ Association have come forth and consulted http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez in order to try and resolve the situation that he finds himself in with Manchester City.
The club are currently looking to arrange a disciplinary meeting with the Argentine forward and after he returned to training today, it was believed that the player is going to be practicing along, until a common ground can be reached.
Tevez went ahead and saw himself fall in this massive trench after he refused to step onto the pitch for City against Bayern Munich. The player claims that he didn’t refuse to go on the field, but http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 believes that the player meant he didn’t
want to play and no one is buying the player’s excuse of a misunderstanding causing all the problems.
The PFA chairman Gordon Taylor has come forth and revealed that the PFA are going to be talking to Tevez and will try to conclude as to what had really taken place during the game.
“I have spoken to Tevez, and he is saying he didn't refuse to play but it was a question of him continually being asked to warm up and he felt he had warmed up enough.”
“There was a problem that was caused in the conditions of the game and one player had come off, another player had gone on and so there's conflicting views, yes, and from that point of view there is the view of the manager, the view of the player.
“The club have had to interview different people who were there at the time and see television evidence, and they feel there is enough evidence now to justify a disciplinary hearing.”
With Tevez sticking to his story rather firmly, it seems like the PFA and City are going to have to really bust their heads in order to draw a conclusions.
Nonetheless, that being said, it is now going to be a wait for another couple of days before Tevez’s fate is decided at the club.
