I got my lip pierced last Saturday, and I'm not sure if its healing properly. They used a ring, which i really didn't want, and I'm just wanting someone who knows what they're talking about to have a look at a picture and just give me some advice. Help'd really be appreciated :) thank youu x

  1. I'm not a professional piercer, more like a profession piercee.  Maybe I should've done that...coulda saved loads of money.  It should be a bit crusty.  The ring is better for healing because it allows the wound/piercing to get air which allows it to heal faster.  Keep your mouth clean with non-alcoholic mouth wash, fingers away, and put a cotton ball with a bit of tear-salty water on it every day when you've a few minutes to spare.  Good luck and send pics if you want.

  2. Rings aren't so great for piercings, moves around, drags stuff into the piercing and takes longer to heal. Though I've had lip piercings with rings and they're fine. I just don't get along with labrets at all.

I'm not a piercer either, but I spend too much time finding stuff out.

    Whats the picture?

Not much goes wrong with lip piercings, they're pretty easy to heal, so I guess it'll be fine.
