Professional Tax I Delhi?

As I am working in Pvtl Ltd, Co. where head office is in mumbai. Salary comes from mumbai itself. They are deducting my Professional Tax. As employe of Delhi there is no professional tax. If they had deducted how can i claim for it.

Thogh you are working in Delhi the source of income or the register office of employer is Mumbai and the employer is liable to deduct Professional Tax and remit the same to Derpartment. So the place of work by employee is not a mater for deducting Professional TAx

If you are working in Delhi, your employer should not deduct professional tax for Mumbai. Ask employer to refund you.

This tax is by state. Tax collected by Mumbai can not be returned by Delhi State.
