Professional guitarists, what is your working schedule/pay?

Question for professional guitarists, those who make regular $ to play, whether having a full time job or not. How often do you gig? How hard is the competition for paying gigs? How much do you get paid for gigs, say a cover band playing in a bar venue or a jazz duo at a restaurant? How much do you pull in per month, year?

Doing session work is the way to go. I was pullin $100/hour a few years back while my friends were going hungry playin bars.
