looking around for colleges and courses to take, it says an insurance graduate makes 33, 542 salary.. is that any good?

ALSO, underwriter, claims adjuster, broker, risk manager, company field representative, mediator, or fraud investigator, which is the best to get into? Preferably someone in the field to give me advice?

  1. I am a claims adjuster and before that I worked in an insurance call center. I made more that $33k after my first year in the call center.

As far as best field for many, listen to the individual who is a broker. Brokers can make good money. Other than that you have to decide what your comfortable with.

Some call center insurance companies will pay for you to get your P&C license as well as continuing education.

  2. DIFINATLY underwriter, lots more coffins

  3. Coming from an insurance background, as a broker, that is extremely low salary.  If you get a job with an insurance broker, they actually pay your education fee's.  I believe Insurance Companies will also do the same.

Of all the occupations you listed, the broker has the ability to make the most.  I was well over 6 figures annually.
