How do u become a pro runner and how do they get paid?

pro running is a possibility for me once i'm outa high school but how would i get into it and get paid?

Get sponsored, and you will be entered into big competitions where you will get scouted

The best way to be a professional runner without the college scholarships is to go to open cross country or track meets in your area and try to win as many as possible, you have to get yourself exposed, and then get sponsored by surrounding businesses so they can send you to more races, more places and if you’re really good, you can start going to regional meets and then state and you can soon be on your way to national meets, sponsors the more money you get. And then start training for the Olympics. You can also live at the Olympic training center if you place top at a sponsored National meet, they will pay for your room and board while you train. I lived in the one in Colorado when I was training for wrestling. It was nice.
