  1. we actually had a friend of ours help out with the kids at our service and it worked out great we paid ten an hr and all the parents had to either help out with this service or had to watch their kids. and most parents were ok with that and pitched in a few dollars we didnt ask for them to pay for hole thing just chip in and all turned out well good luck

  2. This would depend on where you live and how many children (and ages) she'll be caring for.

  3. I would pay $50 an hour and expect them to keep the kids out of hair. But really, they should do everything a parent should do and depending on your celebration I would pay up to 50.

  4. i would pay around 25 dollars an hours, u should expect, respect, and the lightest touch. and congratulations if your getting married

  5. well first off... I'm not sure that is a specified job title. i think of that as a babysitter. you first need to see how many children they will be babysitting. each person can only watch 5 kids and kids under 2 count as 2 children. so if you are going to have 12 kids and 2 of them babies you need 3 people. i would expect them to play with the kids, give them a snack since they will be missing out on cake, and make sure they don't get out of hand. i would also have a piece of paper so the parents can jot down cell phone numbers in case any of the kids need a parent for either diaper changes or in case they get hurt. depending on age i would say each sitter should reciece $10-15 an hour.

  6. If you need to find a nanny, and have a church, tap resources there. People who teach in the Sunday school are often teachers in school, and might be willing to make an extra few bucks. You could also call the local registry, my friend got all of her professional babysitting jobs through one.

I would expect them to organize some games for those that were old enough to participate, I would expect them to know how to work a VCR for the kids, serve a kid's meal, diaper and mind little ones, and use good hand washing technique.

Depending on the number of kids and their ages, you might have to consider more than one sitter, and there are laws that govern how many child day care workers per number of children there has to be. You might want to check that out, if nothing more than for guidance on how many sitters you will need.

I would expect them to charge a flat per fee, and possibly add a per child extra fee. and please take into consideration how many babies and toddlers there will be, and add sitters accordingly, one 2 year old could take 5 sitters, LOL.

  7. it would depend on how many kids she/he would be watching and for how long. not to mention what area of the country you live in. i would say 10 kids 4 hrs. look for about $10 a child. good luck!

  8. $10 an hour for the first child, and then $2/hr for each additional child.  And perhaps a $20-25 tip at the end of the evening.

You should also consider that she's getting a meal in the deal.  Don't overpay--but don't underpay, either.
