I am a social worker & was curious as to how teachers, social workers, therapists, etc find out that they have been reported for abuse, guilty or not. I work with some mentally unstable children who could make up whatever story they wanted about me and just wanted to know how I would find out if they had their parents report me. I not an abuser by any means, but was wondering how this works. Does Childline make the call or do they have Children Services make the call?

  1. I worked in a day care in a public school district for 9.5 years. As far as I know, if you are reported, you will be contacted very quickly, as the problem will need to be investigated ASAP. Not sure WHO would be calling (Childline or Childrens Services), but I'm sure you would know.

  2. you know the rules you would not put yourself in a position to be accused, and if you were wrongly accused then you have have to believe in justice, unfortunately abusers do go for jobs that let them work with the vulnerable, but that is the way of the world, it relies on those that are genuine to sort out the abusers, and the government to make sure that the rules to protect children are carried out properly

  3. Also, women making false sexual allegations is one of the fastest growing events of our time:
