Right now it is lowered with a muffler, Ram air intake, my clutch is starting to slip so im going to get a racing clutch. The cars pretty Zippy now but im looking for a little more then zippy wile staying on a budget. I was thinking about an Inercooler and a full exhaust system. The thing is right now I can't get any traction of the launch. My friends stock 4x4 tacoma beat me in a race because i couldn't get any traction. I leared to feather the clutch and take off slower but whats the point of a stick if you can launch from 2000 rpms! Thanks for the imput!!!

  1. If you want to go faster, I would recommend the performance chip (probably APR www.goapr.com), upgrading your suspension, stickier tires, full exhaust from the turbo back.  The intercooler would help.

The supension will be key because just being lower does not mean you addressed your shocks.  What you want is the car to stay planted when you floor it and not rock back so much because you need traction in your front wheels.

  2. If you want traction get a really good set of tires.

If you want more speed get a chip, that way you are guaranteed to get your moneys worth
