Question:

Progesterone cream?

I started using progesterone cream after ovulation. I'm not sure I am pregnant, as the hpt barely shows a line 10 days late, and there has been occasional spotting. I have continued the cream in case I am pregnant, but I am wondering, if I am not pregnant after all, will the cream inhibit ovulation which would ordinarily be in 4-5 days. I have had this experience before where the hpt's did not register until very late with my three previous children, but in case I have not conceived, will i ovulate this month if I continue to use the cream. Every time I have been pregnant, I received progesterone shots at the start.

  1. it doesnt matter if the hpt line was faint if it showe one u r preg, and yes u will still ovulate if ur not preg.

  2. No, the cream will not inhibit ovulation so if you aren't pregnant you will ovulate just as you would normally without the use of the cream

  3. get a blood test asap.you need to get shots if you are pregnant to sustain your pregnancy due to your low progeterone as early as poss,so dont delay
