Question:

Program For Projected Profits?

by  |  earlier

0 LIKES UnLike

I plan on starting a low-scale business (lawn mowing) and I was wondering if there was a program that was free that I could use to project profits.

Such as: I list my income, then list my expenses (all of them are named), and then it totals it all up for my numbers and lists the profits/losses.

Something to organize it nice so I can plan out pricing and such ahead of time. I thank you for any help you give me, as long as its not sarcastic or shoots me down.

  1. You can do what you want with a spreadsheet program.  There is a free one available from OpenOffice.org.  (It runs on Sun Solaris, Windows, Mac and Linux)

It is absolutely free of charge and is compatible with popular play-for-pay spreadsheet software.

By the way when you download it you will also get -- absolutely free of charge -- a word compatible word processor, a presentation program and a database program.

    Hope this helps

  2. I don't know any that is free however I use Quicken and it was fairly cheap and you can do everything from business cards to profit and loss statement to any report you could come up with.
