Program for making your own ring tones?

I would like to get a program that will allow me to make my own ring tones. Also, I want the ring tones to sound like regular ones. I have used a few different sites for free ring tones and some sound horrible. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I only use this free site called Ventones.com

i can make my own ringtones

and choose what part ofthe song you want, and how long you want the ringtone to be. it's totally free too!

Well, there are two ways:

In iTunes (iTunes is free), you could buy a song and then change it into a ringtone. But you also have to pay an extra 99 cents to make it into a ringtone and it only works for iPhones.
