Question:

Programs not working with Windows Vista?

Whenever I try to open Adobe Photoshop CS3 or Bearshare Lite 5.2.5, it says "BearShare has stopped working" or "Adobe Photoshop CS3 has stopped working" then under it, it says "checking for solutions" and there's a green bar passing on the little error pop-up to show that it's scanning for errors. This is really annoying because I like both those programs a lot, is there a way to stop it? It's also Windows 32 bit, so the compatibility is not the issue.

  1. since when is this happening , did the programs worked fine before, did you install any hardware or software on the computer, were there any automatic updates on the computer.

  2. The problem is directly caused by the presence of Bearshare! It will be a problem to get rid of all that program because of the nasty stuff that came with it. If you can not give up bearshare then you stuck with busted stuff

  3. Vista is not compatable with a lot of programs that you had with another version of Widows.   You need to go their web sites and upgrade the programs to make them campatable with vista.

  4. Depends on what version of Vista you are running. It runs only on Home Premium, Ultimate, Business or Enterprise.
