Question:

Project for homeless people?

My husband and I want to do a project where we collect essentials and certain food items and give them to homeless people. However, we can't make up our minds as to what we should put these items in. My husband thinks we should put them in backpacks, but I'm thinking large brown paper bags would do. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!!

  1. Back packs would be a good idea, but very expensive when you need so many of them, and many who are homeless already have things to carry their belongings in. It would depend on how much stuff you have to give per individual. We put small personal hygiene items in new socks for people. That way they also get some nice, new, clean socks. For bigger items or more stuff, I think any bag with handles would be good. Good luck and keep doing good things.

  2. brown paper bags because you could supply food more and cheaper or back packs because they could use them over and over again
