Project64k: where do I put my ROMs so I can play online? ?

I keep getting "rom is not available" while online but I just store my ROMs on my desktop. The forums I've read tell ppl to put the roms in the "roms folder" but I cant find any folder of the sort.... please help me. I want to play SSB64 online!!

when you start up p64k make sure you go to file>choose rom directory and then click desktop and every time you add a new game make sure you click on refresh list.

oh and they have to be out of the zip file. I looking for a game of ssb64 now lol maybe well play together my name will be Kenduru
