2)A stone thrown of a bridge 20 m above a river has an initial velocity of 12 m/s at an angle of 45o above the horizontal (a) what is the range of the stone? (b) At what velocities the stone strike the water?

3)A ball with a horizontal speed of 1.5 m/s rolls off a bench 2.0 m high. (a) How long will it take the ball to reach the floor? (b) How far from the point on the floor directly below the edge of the bench will the ball land?

4)A hunter fires a gun and shoots bullets with muzzle velocity of 400 m/s. At what angle from the horizontal must he aim his gun so that he will hit a bird on a tree 40 m away and 15 m above him?
