Projecting in widescreen?

Question

I'm producing a DVD in widescreen mode and it will have to be played through a projector.

I will not know the make of the projector until the date of the showing so I'm wondering if the average projector is able to

project in widescreen mode.

I'm just concerned that a portion of my movie will be clipped.

Any decent projector will be able to project in widescreen. If you have any problems at the showing play with the various aspect ratio settings (widescreen, letterbox, 4:3, zoom, etc.) until you get what you like. I'm betting you'll be OK. Hope I helped!
