Projectors not compatible with HID?

there are some aftermarket projector headlamps for all types of cars and trucks but the thing I do't get is some say the projectors are not compatible with HID's(I know what HID's are)

what will happen if you install an HID system on them?? will the projectors brake or something?? please if someone can help! i've seen alot of trucks like mine with them but i've been looking for the headlights and all of them say they don't work, can you install those cheap japanese HID system that sell for around $150 bucks with the same bulb size?? please explain!!!

Some aftermarket project beams are not compatible with aftermarket High Intensity Discharge bulbs, as too much glare is cause by them (due to the build quality), thus making it dangerous for other drivers, as glare will affect their vision quite a lot. This is illegal, so I would recommend that you not go with this, and try to find a full High Intensity Discharge Projector Beam headlamp kit!
