Hi, I have a lot of prom dresses- all costing at least 300 or more orig, and I LOVE them but my husband and I are trying to clear some things out. They are only about 2 or 3 years old, so they are in great shape, one of them still has the tags on it and is in perfect condition. I want to sell them maybe on ebay but I have no clue how much to sell them for or what people would pay for them....i love them and i dont want to let them go for to little...it would be unfair to only get 20 dollars or something when they were so expensive...so if at all possible, does anyone have any advice?? thank you!

  1. make it like how much you payed -20 or something...depends how good condition they are in

  2. I would sell them for $70 and the one that has a price tag about $130, seriously if those dresses were 300 the should be a decent price otherwise its like your giving it away for free. you might want to concider a garage sale.

  3. I would start the bidding out on what you would be ok with if lets say your dress only received one bid. For example if you payed $300 for it then start the bidding at like 100.. Also look on eBay and see what they are going for.. Sometimes dresses like that sell better in your local newspaper and closer to the big dances like homecoming and prom.. good luck!!

  4. ebay, sell them trough newspapers ADs.

  5. i will buy them, they spill elk blood on them

  6. On Ebay set a Reserve price (the price you would like to sell it for )if it dont hit the price you dont  have to sell it. but put down you sell it if a good offer is made .

  7. Well, if you're going to sell them on E-bay...check to see what other people are listing similar items for.  Maybe someone else is selling their prom dresses too.  That will give you an idea of what people might be willing to pay.

Once you decide on a price range, you can always start the bidding out low and set a reserve price to make sure that you don't get a winning bid of $20 dollars.

  8. mAKE A WEBSITE.i WOULD BUT IF THEY ARE GOOD LOL.To bad i'm not a girl lol XD.I wuld buy them and sell them at my dads store lol

  9. ebay

  10. try craigslist, they have just about everything on there and it's pretty simple.

  11. This is the wrong time of year to be selling prom dresses.  No one's going to buy a prom dress in August.  Hold them until next spring then you can 1) bring them to a consignment store; 2) advertise in your local classifieds or 3) list them on ebay.  If you're interest in ebay, use the time between then and now to go over to ebay and learn how it's done.

  12. You might be able to get 50 to 100 dollars each for them. 100 especially for the tagged ones.

  13. Consignmnet dress shop.  They can also advise you on price.  You can put it high, leave it a month, then lower it a bit.  It'll be out of your house eitherway so you don't have the clutter even before they sell.

  14. Ebay

    =D

  15. i would give them to a chairty almost.. i forget whats its called but its like somewhere where girls can prom dresses cheap (girls who basically have NOTHING)!!

you'll get a better rewarding feeling

  16. Well, sometimes giving them to a worthy charity is priceless.

You may even get a tax write off if you donate them to a non-profit organization.

  17. take off $20-$15 from the orginal price u payed.

  18. sell them on ebay

  19. try ebay
