I am planning to organise my year 10 formal but i'm not exactly sure where to do it! Any ideas??? I live in Sydney by the way and I want a Function Lounge. Some type of formal hall in the parramatta region but not very far away like the city i don't mind Bankstown and that but some people just have a problem getting to the city. And i don't want it on a boat coz where doing that for year 12! lol Anyways Sydneysiders where did u do your year 10 formal?? And how mauch did it cost for the hall and everything??? Any suggestions would be kindly apreciated.

  1. umm.. my friends sister said that she had hers held at the four seasons hotel in sydney apparently it was an amazing night

search google for details and please, next time dont use that word, here in aus, we call it formal, or in year 12 sometimes it's called a farewell but not "prom"

    otherwise, good question

  2. Why did you call it a Prom? Americanisation s***s me.

  3. I have a problem with the word prom being used to describe a Yr 10 formal

  4. oh wow, it seems to me that you have no life. I really don't understand why you used that word either it seems to have come from a strange dialect of english from America. i am in year 10 this year and i can tell you i am not looking forward to some dumb formal, what do you do anyway? please go and find a job and stop letting you life deteriorate.

  5. I am not sure how many people will be involved in your Year 10 formal, but I found this party bus that seems really cool.

It holds 50-ish people. It might be too small but I think it would be a cool idea if your class fits.

  6. What's this with a year 10 formal? Year 11 semi-formals are bad enough, but a year 10 formal is crazy. By the time you get to year 12 when your formal should be something really special as you leave school and enter the next phase of your life, the whole thing will be ho-hum, yawn, yet another formal. I think that's very sad. Please re-consider if you should be having one at all.

Oh, and if you're going to use those awful Americanisations, you should be calling it a Junior Prom - sounds babyish and teenybopper doesn't it?
