At the beginning of the movie the black girl (Sorry i dont think they mentioned her name) asked Donna if she was going to cheer. She said no because her mom said it wasn't a good idea considering what they had been through. What had they been through? Because this was before her family died. And the stalker does he want to kill Donna or he just wants to get her to be with her?

She was referring to the stalking that she had been tough, by the obsessed teacher.She then goes in the house to find her family dead, and has to see her mother murdered.
