Prom theme ideas!!??

Question

I am having a prom theme for my birthday...however i need a theme for the prom!!

Some ideas are Masquerade, Casino....

but im not too sure!!

Any help would be excellent!!!

Since most young men and/or boys don't like to dress up. I would try and do something a lil casual so everyone can be comfortable.

Do it up DIddy Style...have an "all white affair" it'll be very classy & elegant...

Astrological Signs- have the theme be about your's and everyone's sign and the colors associated with that sign.

Birthstones- you can make each table be a birstone stone color, so you'll have 12 tables and they'll all be a color.  So Sept. is Sapphire, Oct. is Opal, November is Citrine, December?  Januarary is Garnet (deep red), Feb. is amythest (purple), March is aquamarine(light blue), April is Diamond, May is emerald (green), June is Pearl, July is Ruby, August is peridot (light green).  You can do the tablecloths in those colors, like each table has one color and whoever was born in that month can sit there, but then again you may have tons of people at one table and one or two at another.  I would ask your friends first and see who has what birthstone and you may be able to do it if you are interested in this theme.  If you're not, then you have no worries! LOL
