anyone have any good prom theme ideas....im on the committee and we need ideas. what are some peoples themes at their school or original ideas you have??thanks

  1. MARDI GRAS. that's what my school is doing. or UNDER THE SEA. i don't suggest that one. go with MARDI GRAS, it's fun and colorful.


  2. how about a "couples of the past" theme. everyone can dress like famous couples from different eras. or a fairy taled them. everyone can dress like disney characters. or a  masquerade theme. ooooh, maybe a hollywood theme

  6. Last year we had a James Bond kind of thing in called Prom007.

    But this other one I went to twas amazing. It was a whole Fairy Tale theme. Me and my date danced the entire night. The setting had the entrance under what looked like to be a wedding arch and the carpet had glitter all over it. Some of the girls wore fairy tale type dresses. You can try a fairy tale thing.

    You can also try On the Red Carpet or life in Holywood where there could be movie posters, Academy Award tropies, obviously the red carpet, and maybe even a velvet rope. And the music could be original scores, or movie themes or soundtrack covers, and all the guests could feel like celebrities.

    You can try one about witches or magic. Have dark lights hanging everywhere, make it like a cave setting, play Gothic-style music. The whole dance can have a gothic look.

    Another idea could be a Disney theme. Play a lo of disney songs and stuff like that.

  7. maybe you should do a beach theme with a few ppl singing and maybe a band. Drinks: Coconut Milk & Pineapple juice.

  9. ever see dirty dancin havana nights? do a latin/salsa theme and have all the girls wear fun short flo dresses

  10. I am not for sure what the theme is this year for the kids' prom....but

    "An Evening Under The Stars"  You could just decorate the ceiling with all kinds of stars and backdrops, perfect if the colors were like Silver and black
