Promiscuity has it 'herstorically' always been more prevalent (widespread) with women, Just HIDDEN???

I was prompted to ask this when I saw a question about: (Promiscuous Women In modern society) answered with the usual rubbish about ‘Men sleeping around’.

So before the unthinking, and ‘Brain Dead’ among you start the usual chant, which passes for thoughts in these corner, let me enlighten you of something.

For the feeble brains I ask this, with the GUARANTEE that the usual mouths on here WON’T be able to answer!!

If you take 100 MEN who sleep around each with 5 or more women, WHAT is the MINIMUM number of women who are having Promiscuous s*x?

It's hard to say, because people lie about the number of partners they have all of the time.  Not to mention that guys who don't get any will say "I slept with her" when they truly didn't.

The only person that knows is the person themselves..We will never really know what someone's number is.

...am not sure to be honest...I think for men it used to be easier to go and get what they want with whoever they want...

...I have a problem with the hidden bit...lol...in the past it was difficult to hide or remove the unwanted results of promiscuity...

BTW...i don't know about other women but I am not promiscuous...well not off line anyway...lol...

Hi, from what I have learnt so far, I am sure that you can NEVER get any honest answer from the women here.

In the Patriarchal (I think means male dominated) societies, full of these “chaste females”, when the men/boys went out sowing their wild oats, and they met these “Chaste women” then NO OAT’S could be sowed.

So the question then becomes, where did the women come from for the men to do it with, as it could not possibly be the chaste ones?

If 100 Men ARE sleeping around each with 5 or more Women, the minimum number of Women who are having “Promiscuous SEX” is 400, if you assume each man is in a committed relationship & 500 if you assume that each man is not in a committed relationship............... how hard is that?

No Promiscuous s*x can ever take place where a person, MAN or WOMAN say NO, or abstains or is celibate!!

(ANS) There is absolutely no! evidence to prove that Men are more sexually promiscuous than women FACT!!

Gosh you really prefer judging books by their cover huh? Well i have a few questions for you. Is sleeping with 5 people considered promiscuous? Are you askin if women are more likely to be promiscuous? or just equal? Are you asking for current trends or in the past? I don;t necessarily enjoy the word "promiscuous" to describe someone when you don't know them or their situation.

If you you want a straight laced answer for your question. Hands down there are more "promiscuous" men out there then women.However it is true the gap is  closing. In the past it was very inappropriate for women to even be sexual beings, even less sleep around. but there where still women who made their way around a block. As s*x is becoming more main stream for both men and women, more people now then ever have been engaging in the activities. Women are still losing their virginity on average at the age of 19. Men on average lose their at the age 16. Which allows for a huge gap in the numbers of partners for women and men.

You can't deny that there is an image difference between a woman who has had the same amount of partners as a man who are both the sam age. When a woman reaches past 10 at any age before 40 she can easily be labeled "promiscuous" by some crowds. However a man would be less likely to be labeled such a way. It is true and can't be ignored!

My parents grew up in the 50's/60's in the UK and back then promiscuity was frowned upon but a lot of women still did it, obviously not my family! But yes, it was hush hush, but still went on a lot.

In a fixed pool of equal numbered heterosexual men and women, it is IMPOSSIBLE for either gender to be having more s*x than the other gender, therefore any statments about either gender sleeping with people more or less, are just cultural stereotypes, rather than based in any sort of fact :-)
