Hi, my now fiance gave me a promise ring from Kay Jewelers at the mall. I know it was less than $200 and it had a ruby in the middle with two very very small diamonds on either side. I loved it and I know it wasn't that expensive. Jewelry stores always have good sales and rings like that are usually not very expensive.

For a promise ring check out places like Ice, JC Penny, Wal-Mart, Target, Kohl's, etc.

My now-fiance' gave me a gorgeous, and inexpensive, promise ring from JC Penny. Also, for a right hand ring I recently purchased a 1 carat amethyst ring in sterling silver band. It was on sale at Kohl's for $14, so definitely check them out.

What are you promising her? The first girl that I was really into I spent $65. on hers. That was about 30 years ago and I bought it from a place that was called Ardens. It had a little diamond in the center and it was surrounded by sapphires. God almighty, she lost her mind when she seen it! We ended up marrying other people. This was 30 years ago. 65 dollars was a lot of money then and maybe you can try for a cute little funky ring from one of those claw machines. Make sure shes with you when you finally get it. Its the time you spend together that is way more important then the cash. Good Luck!!!

i fiance bought my promise ring from a jewerller. it did cost him 600 which wasnt necessary lol (it has 11 channel set diamonds). Its costing more then my wedding band!! lol. I suggest you find out her birth stone and buy a ring with that colour stone. a silver ring with a coloured stone usually goes for 50-70 dollars at a jewellers maybe that would be cute and thoughtful at the same time.

Just look up rings from wal-mart. Make sure they are Sterling Silver though or else it will rust.
