Promise rings?i want one?!

weve talked about him getting one...but idk i really want one but i dont wanna ask for it u no?? weve been dating for like a year were planning on marrage but not anytime soon

I don't know about those promise rings.  I have never seen any female over the age of 20 who has one.  I think they are designed for a sorta high school mentality. Those tiny diamond chips are more suitable for a 15 year old sophmore in high school couple.  

A nice dinner ring with a semi-precious stone would be better. LIke a garnet, or an opal.  Or a pretty necklace.  You will get your real engagement ring soon enough!

Take him shopping with you and stop into a couple of jewelry stores. While your in their have him look at several rings with  you and even try them on (hint by showing him the size you wear). Then gradually bring up the conversation of how you love him and would like to have something that symbolizes it. You are asking him but at the same time showing him of what you like.
